Night shift, 4x12-hour schedule (19:00 - 07:00). Every other weekend required.
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Medical Surgical / Telemetry Registered Nurse (MS/Tele RN) to provide exceptional patient care in a fast-paced acute care setting. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in med/surg nursing, with telemetry experience strongly preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care to patients in the Medical Surgical and Telemetry units.
- Monitor patients’ vital signs and manage their treatment plans.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in the Epic charting system.
- Administer medications and perform other nursing interventions as needed.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Participate in required staff meetings and complete assigned modules prior to start date.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in a Med/Surg unit.
- Active SC RN license or Compact license in hand.
- BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required.
- Previous travel nursing experience preferred.
- Telemetry experience, including dysrhythmia interpretation and management, is a plus.
