Job Summary:
Medical Surgical with Telemetry (MS TELE) registered nurse position in Vermont. This role involves delivering direct patient care focused on adult patients in a medical-surgical setting with telemetry monitoring. The RN will utilize the Nursing Process and adhere to the standards of the Department of Nursing as well as specialty-specific standards of patient care. Leadership responsibilities include delegating tasks to other healthcare staff, ensuring compliance with all applicable Federal and State laws, regulations, and policies governing healthcare delivery.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Rotating shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Valid RN license, current ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), BLS (Basic Life Support), PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) or ENPC (Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course), de-escalation training, at least 1 year of nursing experience, and active license prior to start date
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience in medical-surgical, telemetry monitoring, leadership experience, familiarity with adult patient care
- Additional Information: The RN provides age-specific, direct patient care, utilizing the Nursing Process within the framework of the Department of Nursing Standards of Patient Care and Specialty Specific Standards of Patient Care. Compliance with all applicable State and Federal laws, regulations, and policies governing health care is mandatory. All required certifications must be active prior to the contract start date or scheduled to be completed at the time of orientation.
