Job Summary:
Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Medical Surgical with Telemetry located in Rock Island, Illinois. This position involves providing patient care within a fast-paced medical-surgical unit, with the opportunity to float to related units as needed. The role requires clinical expertise, adherence to safety protocols, and the ability to work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Valid RN license in Illinois and Iowa, at least 2 years of recent Med Surg experience, current BLS and ACLS certifications through the American Heart Association, valid Driver's License, and a skills checklist completed within the past year.
- Preferred Qualifications: Stepdown/Cardiac experience, prior experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems, and familiarity with float assignments within the discipline.
- Orientation Schedule: Multiple sessions starting from 01/12/2026 through 12/28/2026, held on Tuesdays overall.
- Additional Information: The traveler will be required to work 1-2 of the 3 summer holiday days (Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day). Must have a taxable address outside of 50 miles from the facility and submit a work history/resume, references, and a copy of required certifications upon submission.
