Job Summary:
Medical Surgical with Telemetry professionals are sought for an assignment located in an undisclosed facility. This role involves providing care to patients requiring medical surgical and telemetry services, with a focus on maintaining a high standard of patient safety and clinical excellence. The assignment is scheduled to start on 09/14/2026 and conclude on 12/14/2026.
Job Details:
- Shift: Rotating, 12-hour shifts
- Schedule: 36 hours per week, minimum
- Required Qualifications: 24 months of current experience in Medical Surgical, Telemetry, IMCU, Stepdown, or PCU; EPIC electronic medical systems experience; Heparin administration experience; Iowa or multistate license or compact license; active BLS and ACLS certifications from AHA or ARC; previous travel experience required; skills checklist specific to the discipline; ability to quickly interview viable candidates via phone call or text from a 405 area code; work history/resume must demonstrate 24 months of relevant experience; documentation required includes drivers license and active nurse licenses; orientation dates on 09/14 and 09/28; holiday work possibly required during Memorial Day, Independence Day, and Labor Day; at least 24 months of pertinent clinical experience; previous travel experience; EPIC system experience; Heparin experience required.
- Preferred Qualifications: References from recent supervisors or managers within 24 months, active Iowa or multistate license, and certification compliance as listed.
- Additional Information: The assignment involves working in a unit with patient types such as ED observation, overnight stays, and varying surgical cases requiring overnight stays. Patient ratios are 3:5; 2:7 at most. The unit size is 16 beds. Candidates must adhere to work history and certification requirements and be prepared for rotating shifts and potential holiday coverage.
