Job Summary:
Medical Surgical with Telemetry Nurse in a healthcare facility. This role involves working on a 30-bed medical/surgical unit specializing in solid organ transplant and bariatric surgery, with possible charge responsibilities and unit-specific requirements. The position includes providing patient care to a diverse population, including pre-op and post-op transplant patients and bariatric surgery patients, within a team-oriented environment.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Valid Driver's License/State ID, UHS Submission Packet Checklist/Testing, UHS Skills Checklist, UHS Prior Employment Form, 1 year of experience required, experience in medical surgical and telemetry nursing preferred, location requirements (if any applicable)
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with solid organ transplant and bariatric surgery patients is advantageous
- Additional Information: The role requires EOW/EOH (every other week/end of week) availability. Intermittent charge responsibilities may be required; charge training and shadowing are offered. The unit has 12 available step-down beds that may be filled with med/surg patients when no SDU patients are present, and staff should be prepared to care for SDU patients if assigned.
