Medical Surgical Floor Nurse position available in Exeter, New Hampshire. This role involves providing patient care in a 15-bed medical/surgical unit focused on orthopedic and oncology care. The shift is scheduled for days, with a total of 12 hours per shift, and requires a commitment of at least 36 hours per week starting August 31, 2026.
Job Details
- Schedule: Days, 12 hours shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Valid New Hampshire licensed registered nurse (RN) license, Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association, prior travel experience preferred, experience in orthopedic care required, at least 0 years of experience, location in Exeter, New Hampshire
- Preferred Qualifications: Prior experience in medical-surgical units, orthopedic experience, oncology care experience, familiarity with Epic electronic medical record system
- Additional Information: BILH coversheet required at time of submission. The unit provides general inpatient care for adult medical and surgical patients with a specialized focus on orthopedic and oncology care. The average patient stay is 3-4 days, with patient ratios typically between 5-6:1. Orientation occurs biweekly. Scrubs can be any color. Candidates must have been separated from BILH for six or more months to be considered.
