Job Summary:
Medical Surgical Floor Registered Nurse (RN) Nights a healthcare professional will provide patient care within the Clinical Observation Unit. This role involves working on a 12-hour night shift with a focus on Med/Surg patient management, supporting a team-oriented environment, and contributing to the organizations culture of support, especially when interacting with students and new hires.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Nights, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license, at least 2 years of recent clinical experience in medical-surgical units, current certifications as required for Med/Surg nursing, and the ability to work night shifts.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in a teaching hospital setting and demonstrating ability to handle patient ratios of 1:5 or 1:6.
- Additional Information: Orientation dates are scheduled for 09/08 and 09/21, occurring every other week on Mondays. The assignment involves clinical observation responsibilities in a Med/Surg unit with patient ratios of 1:5 or 1:6. Assignments conclude on 12/19/2026, with a possibility of limited requested time off and the need to submit all documentation, including skills checklists and licenses, at the time of submission.
