Job Summary – (Medical Adult/Pediatrics – Adult Assignment)
📍 Location: Wausau, WI
📅 Contract Length: 13 Weeks

⏱️ Guaranteed Hours: 36 hrs/week
Shift Details
- 12-hour variable shifts:
- Days: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
- Nights: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
- Every other weekend required
- Every other holiday required
- Float required to inpatient units as needed
Unit Details
- Unit: MAP (Medical Adult/Pediatrics — travelers care for adult patients only)
- Trauma Level: II preferred experience
- Patient Ratios:
- Days: 1:4–5
- Nights: 1:6–7
- Patient Population:
- Respiratory illnesses
- Stroke & neurological conditions
- Seizure disorders
- GI disorders
- Diabetes management
- Renal failure
- UTI
- Sepsis
- Wound care
- Clotting disorders
- Infectious disease
- Acute alcohol withdrawal
Requirements
✅ Minimum 2 years RN experience
✅ WI RN License
✅ BLS (AHA or ARC)
✅ EPIC experience required
✅ Trauma Level II experience highly preferred

- Call: None
- Low Census: Up to 36 hours may be low-censused (unbillable) during contract as needed, usually in 4-hour increments
- Travelers declining flu/COVID vaccination during flu season must wear a mask per facility policy.
