Job Summary
Registered Nurse (RN) Medical Surgical Floor Wenatchee, WA. This position involves providing high-quality patient care on a Medical Surgical unit in a healthcare facility. The role requires adherence to organizational policies and standards, and the ability to float between designated campus areas if needed. The position is scheduled for night shifts.
Job Details
- Schedule: Nights, 3, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: WA State / Compact RN Licensure, active BLS and ACLS certifications, minimum 1 year of experience, willingness to float as a sitter, float between Mares and Central Campuses, float in rotation, float between Mares Rehab and Mares Medical Surgical unit
- Responsibilities:
Coordinates and provides compassionate, high-quality patient care utilizing the nursing process and standards of practice
Develops, implements, and continually reassesses patients' individualized care plans
Administers medications, completes nursing procedures and treatments
Continually evaluates discharge plans and educational needs, adjusting as necessary
Documents assessments, interventions, care provided, and patient responses accurately
Collects patient information for safe, effective care delivery
Performs holistic ongoing assessments and responds appropriately to patient status
Determines and executes appropriate nursing actions to meet care goals, addressing physical, psychological, social, and rehabilitative needs
Educates patients and families with timely health information and written materials
Maintains current knowledge of workflows, evidence-based procedures, and organizational policies
Delegates tasks appropriately and supervises care provided by non-licensed assistive personnel
Participates in performance evaluation and quality improvement processes
Communicates and collaborates effectively within the healthcare team
Ensures a clean and safe environment for patients and staff in accordance with policies
