Job Summary:
Medical Surgical Nurse (MS) Marquette, Michigan. This position involves providing compassionate and efficient care to adult and geriatric patients within a 225-bed specialty care hospital's medical/surgical unit. The role requires critical thinking, decisive judgment, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment, ensuring patient safety and optimal outcomes.
Job Details:
- Location: Marquette, Michigan
- Schedule: Nights (7:00 PM 7:00 AM)
- Shift Hours: 12 hours
- Minimum Hours Per Week: 36 hours

- End Date: 11/30/2026
- Required Qualifications: Valid RN license, Bachelors degree, 2 years of experience, certifications in ACLS.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience on a medical/surgical unit, familiarity with telemetry monitors, Baxter IV pumps, and Cerner electronic health record system.
- Additional Information:
- The unit primarily cares for adult and geriatric patients, with patient ratios ranging from 5:1 to 6:1.
- Equipment used includes telemetry monitors, Baxter IV pumps, Kangaroo pumps, bladder scanners, and Dynamaps.
- Dress code requires navy or galaxy blue scrubs, with clean nails, covered tattoos, and minimal jewelry.
- Occasional float may be required to similar units.
