Job Summary
Medical Surgical Floor Nurse The organization is seeking a qualified registered nurse for a position on the medical-surgical floor. The role involves providing patient care across various medicine units, with a flexible contract duration and rotating shifts. Strict EOW (End of Week) and EOH (End of Hour) availability are required, and the RN may be expected to float throughout multiple medicine units depending on staffing needs.
Job Details
- Schedule: Rotating shifts, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Licensure verification, professional credentials, and/or certifications as required. No experience minimum specified.
- Preferred Qualifications: Prior experience in medical-surgical nursing is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Float: Float rotation may be required.
- Additional Information: The contract is flexible regarding duration, and the candidate must be available for shift rotations including every other week (EOW) and every other hour (EOH). The RN will be expected to provide direct patient care and operate in accordance with hospital policies and standards.
