Job Summary:
Medical Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) Night Shift Arcata, California. This position involves providing care to adult patients on the medical-surgical floor during overnight hours. The role requires active licensure, certification, and adherence to safety protocols, including proof of negative TB screening. The selected candidate will work a schedule of three 12-hour overnight shifts per week, with a guaranteed minimum of 36 hours weekly, starting in early September 2026 and ending in December 2026.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Active California RN license, Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification, proof of negative TB screen within 12 months of contract start date, at least 3 years of experience as a Medical Surgical Nurse
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience working on medical-surgical floors, familiarity with hospital protocols for overnight care
- Additional Information: This assignment is for a rapid response position on the medical-surgical floor. No additional operational or clinical details needed for application.
