Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Medical Surgical (Med/Surg) at a healthcare facility in Gallatin, Tennessee. This role involves providing high-quality nursing care on a Med/Surg unit supporting adult and geriatric patient populations. The position requires a dedicated healthcare professional prepared to work night shifts, with an emphasis on professionalism and patient-centered care.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Valid RN license to work as an RN in Tennessee; ACLS certification; BLS certification; 2+ years of experience in Medical Surgical nursing.
- Preferred Qualifications: 2+ years experience in Medical Surgical units.
- Float: May float to other Medical Surgical units as needed.
- Additional Information: This position involves working with adult and geriatric patients, managing a patient ratio of 6:1, in a 12-bed unit. The healthcare facility is fully accredited and has a Level III Trauma Center status. Orientation is held weekly on Mondays, and candidates must be at least 60 miles from the facility to be considered for travel. All clinical staff must pass Tennessee Abuse Registry checks prior to start date.
