Job Summary:
Medical Surgical Floor Nurse located in Englewood, CO. This position involves providing high-quality patient care on a busy Medical Surgical unit specializing in post-op burn and flap patients. The assignment offers a dynamic environment with opportunity to work with advanced equipment and technology, making it an excellent choice for experienced RNs seeking to expand their clinical skills in a supportive team setting.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Day shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Valid RN license, minimum 1 year of acute care hospital Medical Surgical experience, BLS certification, valid state licensure in Colorado or current licensing equivalent, and at least 1 year of nursing experience
- Preferred Qualifications: Burn Care experience, Wound Care, Ostomy Care, ACLS certification
- Float: Float rotation may be required
- Additional Information: Responsibilities include wound and dressing care on post-op burn and flap patients. The unit is staffed with a team of experienced nurses and support personnel, utilizing advanced equipment such as Hoyer lifts, air taps, wound vacuums, and PCA pumps. The unit emphasizes teamwork, positive attitude, and adherence to clinical guidelines and policies.
