Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Medical Surgical Neuro – Albuquerque, NM 87102
Start Date: September 14, 2026
Location: Albuquerque, New Mexico
Schedule: Day shift, 4x12-hour shifts (06:30 - 19:00), 36 or 48 hours per week with overtime available after 48 hours. Six weekend shifts required within a six-week period. No call required.
Highlights:
- Medical Surgical Neurology unit with 32 beds and 1:6 nurse-to-patient ratios
- Rapid response team support with interdisciplinary collaboration including PT, respiratory services, pharmacy, and more
- Epic charting system with comprehensive orientation provided
- First-time travelers welcome with at least one year of recent experience
- Floating to like units only; no call requirements
- 13-week assignment with potential for extension
Requirements:
- Active RN license (New Mexico or Compact state license; pending acceptable)
- Minimum one year of recent Medical Surgical experience
- BLS certification required
- NIHSS certification required (pending acceptable)
- CPI certification preferred
- Experience with 1:6 patient ratios
- Proficiency in Epic charting preferred
- Must reside outside 50-mile local radius
