Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of 2 years of recent Med/Surg or acute care nursing experience
• Current BLS certification
• Current NIH certification
• ACLS certification preferred
• Strong clinical judgment and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced acute care setting

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to adult medical-surgical patients in an acute GI medicine unit
• Monitor patient conditions, assess changes, and respond appropriately to evolving clinical needs
• Administer medications and treatments according to established nursing protocols
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare team members to support safe, effective patient care
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient progress accurately and in a timely manner
• Promote a positive patient experience through compassionate, professional bedside care
