Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Medical Surgical – Tulsa, OK 74104
Start Date: September 8, 2026
Location: Tulsa, Oklahoma
Schedule: Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (18:45 - 07:15). Option of 36 or 48 hours per week. Every other weekend required. 6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule period.
Highlights:
- 13-week travel assignment in a 25-bed Medical/Surgical unit
- Nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:5-6
- Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, and rapid response teams
- Epic charting system experience preferred
- First-time travelers accepted; 1+ years of experience considered
- Float requirement within scope to similar units as needed
Requirements:
- Valid Oklahoma or Compact RN license required at time of submission
- 2 years of Medical/Surgical nursing experience preferred (1+ years considered)
- Current BLS certification required
- Epic charting system experience preferred
- Skills required: IV management, wound care, telemetry monitoring, blood product administration, tracheostomy care, feeding tube management, isolation precautions, and other Med/Surg competencies
- Must reside outside 75-mile local radius
