Job Summary:
Medical Surgical Rehabilitation Floor registered nurse (RN) position available in the area. This role involves providing comprehensive postoperative and rehabilitation care to adult patients, focusing on those recovering from stroke, neurological conditions, trauma, and orthopedic injuries. The RN will deliver individualized patient care in a fast-paced inpatient rehabilitation environment, adhering to established standards and protocols.
Job Details:
- Shift: Nights, 12-hour shifts, with a minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: RN license, CNA certification, zero years of experience required
- Additional Information: Candidates should have experience with acute care settings, including IV starts, feeding tubes, ostomies, and wound care. Rehab experience is preferred but not mandatory. The role involves caring for adult patients aged 18 and older with diagnoses such as post-surgical recovery, stroke, cardiac conditions, and hemodialysis. The unit is equipped with hospital-standard lift equipment, and the Electronic Medical Record system used is EPIC. High accountability, teamwork, and patient-focused attitude are essential.
