👩⚕️ Position: Travel RN – Oncology
🌞 Shift: Days | 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
📅 Schedule: 3×12s | Every Other Weekend
⏰ Guaranteed: 36 Hours/Week
📆 Contract: 13 Weeks
💻 Charting: MEDITECH
💙 Scrubs: Caribbean Blue
📍 Radius: 75-mile rule
⭐ Assignment Highlights
✨ 29-bed Oncology unit
✨ 1:5 ratio, occasionally 1:6
✨ Oncology + hematology patient population
✨ Rare floating
✨ Charge Nurse outside the staffing grid
✨ Generally 3 nurse aides/day
✨ 3-day unit-specific orientation
✨ Central telemetry monitoring
✨ Every-other-weekend rotation
✨ Holiday rotation with staff
🩺 Patient Population
Experience with:
• Acute oncology symptoms
• Thrombocytopenia & neutropenia
• Sickle cell crisis
• Hematology patients
• Medical overflow
• Oncology care
• End-of-life/palliative care
• Outpatient treatment overflow
📋 Required Experience & Credentials
✅ Minimum 1 year RN experience
✅ 1 previous travel assignment required
✅ Oncology experience required
✅ BLS – AHA
✅ NIHSS required
⭐ ONS certification preferred
⭐ Chemo experience/ONS: 2 years specialty experience required if administering chemotherapy
🚫 First-time travelers not accepted
⚠️ Submission Requirements
• Driver's license must be 75+ miles from the facility
• 75-mile radius information must be provided at submission
• Active RN license required for submission
• Cancellation policy: 12 hours every 2 weeks
