Job Summary:
Registered Nurse specializing in Medical Surgical Oncology Floor in Neptune, New Jersey. This role involves evaluating patients, assisting physicians with patient care, planning, implementing, and documenting nursing care based on patient needs. The position requires providing patient-centric care while managing multiple responsibilities in an inpatient oncology setting.
Job Details:
- Certifications, Education Requirements, Degree Requirements, Location Requirements, and Years of Experience: Two (2) years of experience in acute adult oncology, specializing in leukemia and lymphoma, inpatient setting; ASN degree required, BSN preferred; Certifications include ACLS, BLS, CHEMO CERTIFICATION; Licenses include NJ State Professional Registered Nurse license or multi-state compact license; Hard skills include IV insertion, Phlebotomy, basic nursing skills; Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications include: ACLS, BLS, CHEMO CERTIFICATION, NJ State Professional Registered Nurse license or multi-state compact license, experience in acute adult oncology.
- Preferred Qualifications include: Telemetry and Chemo Certification with Oncology Nursing Society.
- Additional Information: The role involves performing therapeutic nursing interventions, managing patient care, documenting in accordance with standards of care, supporting evidence-based practices, and providing care aligned with professional nursing practice models. The schedule includes nights and may require weekends and holidays as needed, with floating responsibilities.
