Job Summary:
Registered Nurse specializing in Medical Surgical Oncology is sought for a healthcare facility in Billings, Montana. This role involves performing independent nursing functions, assessing patient health, providing health education, executing treatment plans, and collaborating within a multidisciplinary team. The position offers an opportunity to deliver high-quality patient care on a night shift, supporting the organization's mission to promote health and well-being.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Current license as a Registered Nurse in the state of practice; ASN degree from an accredited School of Nursing; BLS certification from the American Heart Association; at least 1 year of nursing experience, or 0 years if newly licensed.
- Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree of Nursing; Certification as appropriate for the unit or service; previous experience as a Registered Nurse in a Medical Surgical Oncology setting.
- Additional Information: The nurse will perform health assessments, develop and monitor treatment plans, document care activities, and may be required to float to other departments within scope. Some on-call hours during scheduled shifts may be required.
