Job Description:
Registered Nurse position in a rural hospital Telemetry unit, requiring teamwork and dedication to patient care. The role involves managing a variety of patient diagnoses and working with a supportive but rotating staff, under consistent leadership.
Responsibilities:
- Work 36hrs/wk or 36/48 hrs bi-weekly
- Manage patient care with a 5-6:1 ratio
- Float to all Med/Surg units and possibly to PCU for Tele holds
- Read telemetry strips, monitored by techs
- Operate Cpap, Bipap, and high flow equipment
Requirements:
- 18+ Months of recent Med/Tele experience
- Great communication and time management skills
- Experience in rural hospitals preferred
- BLS and ACLS certifications
