Shift: 12H Nights, 19:00:00-07:00:00, every other weekend, nights, first to float

Job Description:

The Telemetry RN is responsible for managing patient care for adults and geriatrics with cardiac conditions including cardiac caths, EP studies, and more. This role requires titration of drips and the ability to read and interpret telemetry strips. Experience with PCU is a must.

Responsibilities:

• Care for patients with cardiac history, including those with pacemakers and experiencing acute on chronic conditions.
• Titrate medications such as Amiodarone, Cardizem, Heparin, and others as needed.
• Collaborate with Charge Nurse on shift duties.
• Assist with BiPap machines and troubleshoot RT equipment.
• Float to other units as needed, including PCU and MS.

Requirements:

• ACLS and BLS certifications required.
• Experience in telemetry and cardiac care with PCU experience.
• Proficiency with EPIC charting system preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret telemetry strips.
