Job Requirements

• Active Wisconsin RN license or compact RN license
• Minimum of 2 years of acute care RN experience within the last 3 years in Med/Surg Telemetry or a related specialty
• EPIC experience required
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA)
• Successful completion of a telemetry test prior to start
• Strong clinical skills in telemetry monitoring, dysrhythmia interpretation, and inpatient medical-surgical nursing
• Ability to work rotating days and nights, every other weekend, and holidays as needed
• Willingness to float to like units as needed

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, patient-centered nursing care for adult and geriatric patients in a fast-paced acute care environment
• Monitor telemetry rhythms and respond promptly to changes in patient condition
• Administer medications and therapies according to patient care plans and nursing standards
• Support patients with general internal medicine, geriatrics, and special pathogens diagnoses
• Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to promote safe, coordinated care
• Perform assessments, document accurately in Epic, and maintain strong clinical communication
• Assist with blood product administration, IV insulin protocols, central line and PICC line care, and rapid response support as needed
• Float to like units and adapt to changing patient care needs within the facility
