Travel Med/Surg Tele RN – Quick Highlights Contract: 20 weeks for winter coverage; 13 weeks also accepted Shift: Days, 7:00 AM–7:30 PM Schedule Options: 4×12s, 3×12s, or 2×12s Experience: Minimum 18 months recent Med/Surg Tele experience Travel Background: Must have 18 months permanent Med/Surg Tele experience before traveling License: Permanent Ohio RN license or Compact license in hand at submission Certifications: AHA BLS & ACLS required; must be willing to obtain NIHSS before start Reference: 1 recent specialty reference from a Manager, ANM, Supervisor, Director, or Charge RN required Testing: ECG rhythm recognition and SafeMedicate assessments during orientation; maximum 2 attempts Submission: All start date, RTO, scheduling and shift details must be confirmed at submission and cannot be changed after offer RTO: Must be discussed during interview and submitted upfront Local: Locals accepted at the same bill rate Submission Limit: Candidate can only be submitted to 1 position at a time within the health system Background: Open cases not accepted; license hits not accepted Nicotine: Nurses are currently exempt from the nicotine-free requirement Compliance: BCI/FBI fingerprints must be completed within 48 hours of signing Modules: Approximately 6–15 hours; first 4 hours are billable, additional pre-start hours are non-billable Offer: Auto-offer position
