• Schedule: Every other weekend; standby call may be required
• Setting: Short-term acute care / Level IV trauma environment

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse license
• At least 1 year of Med/Surg Telemetry nursing experience required
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications
• Epic EHR experience required
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• Experience caring for adult and geriatric patient populations
• Strong skills in telemetry monitoring, dysrhythmia interpretation, IV therapy, and line management
• Reliable transportation required for the assignment

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, high-quality nursing care to Med/Surg Tele patients in an acute care hospital setting
• Monitor telemetry rhythms and respond quickly to changes in patient condition
• Administer medications, manage IV access, and support blood product administration
• Care for central lines, ports, PICCs, oxygen therapy, feeding tubes, and related interventions
• Support patients requiring bladder irrigation, tracheostomy care, and isolation precautions when needed
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure coordinated patient care
• Document accurately in Epic and maintain strong attention to detail
• Assist with rapid response and code team activities as appropriate
• Adapt to unit needs and float when required
