Travel Med Surg Tele RN - $2,353 per week

HealthTrust Workforce Solution External is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg / Telemetry for a travel nursing job in Lewiston, Maine.

• Shift: 6:45PM – 7:15AM 
• Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36 
• Weekend Hours: Every other weekend required 
• Call Requirements: None 
• Required Certifications: BLS or BCLS – Required. ( ACLS – Preferred) 
• Years of Experience: 2+ 
• Float Requirements: Float required to all inpatient units

• Additional Notes: We are looking for experienced surgical nurses who also have experience with telemetry. This is a 37 bed unit with a high churn to accommodate our surgical population. Bariatric experience is preferred; We have an Ultrasound IV Team who work 7am to 10pm, We do not have issues usually find a nurse to help with IVs as needed.

• Number of Beds: 37 
• Patient Ratios: 1:5 
• Equipment: Specialty beds (bariatrics), wound vacs, prevena vacs; Baxter IV Pumps 
• EHR: EPIC

• Patient Population e.g. “geriatric, adult, peds, etc.”:

Hiring Profile:

• Must Have Skills/Experience: Telemetry, Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Management of dysrhythmias 
• Preferred Skillset/Experience:  
• Common Diagnosis/Treatment: Medical management of diagnoses such as DM and PNA, trauma, general surgery, bariatrics, plastics, urology
