Registered Nurse (RN) – Med Surg | Days
Pittsfield, MA | 13+ Weeks | 48 hrs/week | 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
Seeking an experienced Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse for a travel assignment in a busy acute-care setting. Candidates must be comfortable floating between Med Surg units and caring for a diverse adult patient population.
Position Details
Start Date: September 21, 2026
End Date: February 1, 2027
Duration: Approximately 19 weeks
Shift: Days, 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
Guaranteed Hours: 48 hours/week
Weekend: Every other weekend
Holidays: Must be available for required holiday blocks
On Call: None
Scheduling: No block scheduling
Local Radius: Travelers must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
Requirements
2 years of current Medical-Surgical experience
Telemetry experience required
Willingness to float to any Med Surg unit
Basic Dysrhythmia course completion strongly required
BLS – AHA
ACLS – AHA
NIHSS
Active Massachusetts RN License in hand at submission
Meditech Expanse experience highly preferred
Previous travel experience
Must have reliable personal transportation

Current Med Surg skills checklist
1 supervisory signed reference from within the past 2 years
MA RN license
BLS, ACLS & NIHSS documentation
Perm address included in profile
All RTO must be disclosed at submission
At least two specific interview availability dates/times required
Holiday Requirements
Travelers cannot take all holidays off. If scheduled/needed, candidates must be available for two holiday blocks:
Thanksgiving Day, Friday after & weekend after
Christmas Eve through Christmas Day & weekend after
New Year's Eve through New Year's Day & weekend after
