**Join Our Team as a Med/Surg RN - Nights!** Are you ready for an exciting opportunity as a Med/Surg Nurse? Join us for a rewarding experience where you’ll provide exceptional care to patients while working with a dedicated team of healthcare professionals. **Key Responsibilities:** - Deliver direct, individualized nursing care to patients based on scientific nursing principles - Consult and collaborate with the healthcare team to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans - Prepare and administer medications (orally, subcutaneously, through IV) and document accordingly - Report any adverse reactions to medications or treatments, adhering to nursing policies - Educate patients on surgical procedures and post-treatment home care needs - Record patient medical information and vital signs with precision - Monitor and adjust specialized equipment, interpreting electronic displays effectively - Initiate corrective actions in response to adverse symptoms - Provide bedside care for a diverse range of medical patients, including pre- and post-surgery - Create and execute a patient education plan, as directed by the physician - Change dressings, insert catheters, and start IVs as needed - Prepare equipment and assist physicians during patient examinations and treatments - Respond to life-saving situations in accordance with nursing standards and protocols - Participate in discharge planning to ensure patient readiness - Utilize time management skills to enhance patient care efficiency - Record all care information concisely, accurately, and promptly **Requirements:** - Current ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications through the American Heart Association - Valid RN license (WY or multi-state) - Completion of the SageWest coversheet with submission **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
