Travel Med/Surg RN – Quick Highlights Specialty: Medical/Surgical RN Orientation: September 14, 2026 Weekly Hours: 36–48 hours/week Experience: 24 months of recent Med/Surg experience required First-Time Travelers: Accepted Required Certification: BLS – AHA License: Active Iowa or Compact/Multistate RN license Charting: EPIC Required Experience: PCA & Heparin Preferred Experience: Post-op surgical care, hip/knee, mastectomy, abdominal surgery Patient Ratio: 1:4–5 Patient Population: Hip/knee, mastectomy, abdominal surgery and general Med/Surg Floating: Required across assigned campuses Local Radius: No locals; candidates must live 50+ miles from the facility Holiday: 1–2 of the 3 upcoming summer holidays required Call: On-call may apply Scrubs: Not specified Special Note: Unit has an emotional support canine 🐶 RTO: Confirm at submission as part of the travel submission process
