Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of 2 years of medical/surgical nursing experience
• ACLS certification required
• BSN preferred
• Experience using Cerner preferred
• Ability to work independently with strong critical thinking and sound judgment
• Comfortable working in a high-acuity, fast-paced, team-oriented healthcare environment
• Ability to maintain professionalism and adapt to a busy clinical setting

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate nursing care to adult and geriatric medical/surgical patients
• Monitor patient status and respond appropriately to changes in condition
• Administer medications, treatments, and nursing interventions as ordered
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to support care plans
• Use clinical judgment to prioritize care and manage multiple patient assignments
• Accurately document assessments, interventions, and patient responses in the EHR
• Support a culture of teamwork, accountability, and patient-centered care
• Maintain compliance with unit standards, safety practices, and professional expectations
