**Join Our Team as an RN - MSU/PCU Nights!** **Job Description:** - Join a dynamic 25-bed Critical Access Hospital (CAH) as a registered nurse in the MedSurg/PCU department. - Bring your expertise and flexibility to work across various departments as needed. - We are seeking passionate candidates ready to dive in during the upcoming holiday season with minimal RTO dates! **Key Responsibilities:** - Identify and address patient and significant others’ needs for education using effective educational strategies. - Ensure patient safety through proactive measures like side rails, restraints, and proper equipment use. - Demonstrate knowledge in safely operating all equipment in PCU/Telemetry/MedSurg areas. - Follow troubleshooting techniques and procedures for repairs and access equipment manuals when needed. - Implement infection control practices and isolation procedures while maintaining thorough documentation. - Utilize standard precautions to ensure a safe environment for all patients. - Maintain complete, accurate, and concise documentation of patient status and nursing interventions. - Accurately document charges and complete physician orders promptly. - Conduct a thorough 24-hour check of orders as necessary during your shift. - Provide complete and accurate change-of-shift reports to oncoming staff. - Foster clear communication with other departments to ensure continuity of care. - Report critical lab values to physicians promptly and according to protocols. - Maintain and restock emergency carts, medical rooms, and general supplies. - Perform other duties as assigned. **Shift Information:** - Nights - Holiday Coverage Required: Yes **Minimum Requirements:** - A minimum of 3 years of nursing experience. - Current ACTIVE WA nursing license required. - Certifications in ACLS and BLS/BCLS. **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
