Job Requirements

• Active Indiana RN license or compact RN license
• ACLS certification from the American Heart Association
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association
• Minimum of 2 years of recent telemetry and LTAC nursing experience in a hospital setting
• Ventilator and tracheostomy experience required
• Strong critical thinking skills, clinical judgment, and the ability to work effectively in a team-based healthcare environment
• 2 to 5 years of overall nursing experience preferred for success in this role

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, high-quality patient care in an LTAC and telemetry nursing setting
• Use the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
• Monitor patients closely and respond to changes in condition with sound clinical judgment
• Care for patients requiring ventilator support and tracheostomy management
• Coordinate with physicians, respiratory therapy, and the interdisciplinary care team to promote positive patient outcomes
• Delegate and supervise patient care activities appropriately based on team skill mix
• Maintain clinical competencies through continuing education and professional nursing practice
