Schedule
This position requires full-time availability with variable shifts in the Day/Evening schedule. Every other weekend and holidays are required.
Job Description
The RN will provide skilled nursing care for residents in a long-term care setting. This includes ensuring the delivery of age-appropriate care while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to meet each patient's unique needs.
Responsibilities
- Collect and assess data pertinent to the resident's physical and psychosocial condition.
- Develop, implement, and revise resident care plans in collaboration with interdisciplinary teams.
- Ensure safety and satisfaction within the care environment and actively communicate with residents and families.
- Maintain current knowledge and clinical expertise through continuous education.
- Provide leadership within the nursing practice setting and participate in the mentoring of new staff.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Active NY RN Licensure
- BLS certification (AHA or RQI)
- Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience in a long-term care facility
This is a 13-week contract position.
