Job Summary:
Long Term Care Nurse in an area requiring a commitment of 16 to 22 weeks. The position involves providing nursing care in a rehabilitation and skilled nursing environment, with working hours during night shifts. Flexibility to work weekends and holidays is necessary to meet patient care needs. This role requires a dedicated nursing professional capable of adapting to various units and patient populations, including individuals with dementia.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
  • Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license, minimum of 3 years' experience, prior travel experience preferred, Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA), willingness to float to other units as needed, comfort working with dementia patients, employment history including all work details (bed count, EMR, facility type, etc.), and ability to explain employment gaps over 90 days
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience in Long Term Care (LTC) settings
  • Additional Information:
    IVS to OFFER
    Assignment duration: 16-22 weeks
    No block schedules for any reason
    Bi-weekly orientations on Mondays (next available date)
    All work history information must be complete for submission
    Reliable transportation is strongly recommended, with all-season or snow tires during November-April
    Travelers should read and understand their assigned hours and communicate any preplanned time off upfront
