Job Summary:
Long Term Care Registered Nurse (RN) Night Shift Location unspecified. This position involves partnering with residents and care providers to deliver safe, compassionate, and personalized care within a long-term care environment. The role includes working across various units, such as specialized dementia care, short-term rehabilitation, and long-term care, focusing on providing a supportive, home-like setting for residents requiring ongoing or short-term nursing care.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Night shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Associates in Nursing; valid State of Maine or compact RN license; 0 years minimum experience; strong teamwork and communication skills; willingness to float to other units as needed; flexibility to cover 24 hours/day, 7 days/week; an equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted for the above requirements.
- Preferred Qualifications: 1-3 years previous RN experience; medical terminology proficiency
- Additional Information: Candidates with licensure hits will not be considered. Please do not submit previous employees not accepted. Up to 16 hours of orientation is unpaid. The organization reserves the right to cancel up to three shifts per 13-week contract. Residency outside a 50-mile radius is required.
