Job Summary

House Supervisor Level 1 (RN) position located in a critical access healthcare facility. This role involves overseeing clinical operations, managing staff, and ensuring quality patient care on the designated shift. The position requires clinical expertise, leadership skills, and the ability to function effectively within a fast-paced environment.

Job Details

  • Schedule: Night shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
  • Required Qualifications: Valid state license (compact license must be in hand at submission), at least 1 year of experience as a Charge Nurse or Supervisor, certifications including BLS (Basic Life Support) and PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support), experience with inpatient acute care, crisis management, discharge processes, infection control, regulatory compliance (DPH, TJC, OSHA), and supervisory nursing care delivery.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in community hospital settings and with trauma level I or II facilities.
  • Additional Information: Candidates must be prepared to work during designated holidays, and RTO requests should be made upfront during the application process. The assignment duration is from 09/08/2026 to 12/08/2026, with a focus on supervisory responsibilities in a small critical access hospital with 23 beds. All modules are to be completed pre-start and during orientation via Workramp; time spent on modules is included in non-billable hours.
  • Travel Compliance: SSN and DOB required.
  • Placement restrictions: Can only sub to 1 facility at a time; must include response regarding previous employment at a Providence facility if applicable.
  • References: Two references covering 1 year (or 6 months for CNAs) within the last 3 years are required.
