OB RN – Labor & Delivery
- Shift: 3 × 12-hour shifts, Nights
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week
- Facility: Central Montana Medical Center (CMMC)
Responsibilities:
- Provide safe, efficient, and compassionate nursing care to Labor & Delivery and Obstetric patients.
- Monitor maternal and fetal well-being throughout labor.
- Manage labor progression and perform cervical examinations within scope.
- Interpret fetal monitoring strips and recognize changes requiring intervention.
- Assist with vaginal and operative deliveries.
- Prepare patients for operative deliveries and respond promptly to obstetric emergencies.
- Administer medications and provide ongoing clinical care during labor and delivery.
- Provide postpartum education and support to patients and families.
- Promote a positive birth experience and optimal outcomes for mothers and newborns.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, physicians, and the multidisciplinary care team.
Requirements:
- Current Montana RN License required
- Labor & Delivery experience required
- Experience in both Labor & Delivery and Obstetrics required
- NRP required
- BLS required
- STABLE required
- Strong clinical judgment and communication skills
