Job Summary:
Labor and Delivery (L&D) registered nurse positions are available in a high-volume, high-risk environment. These roles involve providing specialized care during delivery and neonatal care until transfer to postpartum. Candidates must have experience in high acuity settings and be prepared to work in fast-paced circumstances on night shifts.
Job Details:
- Schedule: 12-hour night shifts, minimum of 48 hours per week, from 09/07/2026 to 12/07/2026.
- Required Qualifications: Candidates must have a minimum of 3 years of experience in high acuity and high pace environments, current certifications including BLS, NRP, ACLS (preferred: AWHONN Advanced and Intermediate), and valid licensure (compact license required at submission). Previous charge experience, ability to assist with high risk deliveries, and neonatal care skills such as circulating for C-sections, providing newborn assessments, eye care, and administering Vit K injections are mandatory.
- Preferred Qualifications: AWHONN Advanced and Intermediate certifications are highly preferred.
- Float: Float rotation may be required between postpartum and antepartum units, including sister facilities supporting Mother/Baby services.
- Additional Information: Candidates will function as Baby Nurses during deliveries, supporting both mother and newborn until transfer, with a focus on high-risk obstetrical care in a high-volume environment. Experience with electronic fetal monitoring (EPIC HARDSTOP) and following AWHONN guidelines is valued. Candidates must be flexible with working every other weekend and holidays, and must commit to specific scheduling, including pre-approved time off requests.
