Job Summary:
The Labor and Delivery (L&D) specialty position is based in Fontana, California. This role involves providing high-quality nursing care within the Labor and Delivery Department, supporting patients through childbirth and postpartum. The position is scheduled for night shifts, with an emphasis on clinical excellence and patient safety.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Nights; 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications:
1-year recent (within the last 3 years) full-time equivalent experience in a clinical setting. Graduate of an accredited nursing program. Valid Registered Nurse (RN) License in the state of California. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification. - Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in nursing or related field. Over five (5) years of recent experience in Labor and Delivery within the last two (2) years. One (1) year of high-risk labor and delivery experience within the last two (2) years. High Risk Obstetrics (OB) experience preferred. - Additional Information:
Position requires candidates to meet all licensure and certification requirements, including ACLS certification. No minimum experience requirement is specified beyond the qualifications listed. The role involves clinical duties pertinent to the Labor and Delivery Department and adherence to facility policies.
