Job Summary:
Labor and Delivery Nurse (L&D) Delano, California. This role involves delivering comprehensive nursing care to patients in the labor and delivery department, ensuring safety, effectiveness, and compassionate support throughout the childbirth process. The position requires supervising and coordinating with healthcare teams while adhering to established standards of care and organizational protocols.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Night shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice; AHA-BLS or ARC-BLS certification; AHA-NRP or ARC-NALS certification; S.T.A.B.L.E certification; AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS certification; Fetal Heart Monitoring (FHM) certification; at least 1 year of nursing experience in labor and delivery or related acute care setting; valid COVID-19 vaccinations as per organizational policy
- Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) and experience in a defined acute care facility setting
- Additional Information: EPIC electronic health record experience required; floating to other facilities in Bakersfield as needed; start date August 31, 2026, end date November 29, 2026
