Job Summary:
Labor and Delivery (L&D) Registered Nurse (RN) position is located in a close-knit community within Kings County. The role involves delivering coordinated nursing care for patients in the Labor and Delivery department, following established standards of care and the nursing process. The nurse supervises and directs various levels of nursing staff and collaborates with multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe, compassionate, and effective patient care.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Nights, 12 hours shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
  • Required Qualifications: Bachelors Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred, minimum of 3 years of experience in Labor and Delivery required, current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice required, American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) required, American Heart Association (AHA) Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) required, American Heart Association (AHA) Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) required, EPIC experience required, must be able to take over a recovery in Labor and Delivery and assist with cesarean sections.
  • Additional Information: The RN will collect relevant patient data, analyze assessments, develop and implement care plans, and evaluate patient progress. Must be capable of assisting with labor and delivery procedures, including catching babies during cesarean sections. The position requires adherence to vaccination policies and participation in organizational safety protocols.
