Job Summary
The Labor and Delivery (L&D) Nurse is based in a healthcare facility in GREAT BARRINGTON, Massachusetts. This position involves providing specialized obstetric nursing care during nights, adhering to clinical standards and collaborating closely with obstetricians and midwives. This role requires maintaining current licensure and certifications to deliver safe, effective maternal and neonatal care.
Job Details
- Schedule: Night shift with 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Massachusetts Registered Nursing (RN) license; 2 years of current Labor and Delivery experience; Bachelor of Science in Nursing; active American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS); active Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP); certification in STABLE (Sugar, Temperature, Air Way, Blood Pressure, Lab Work, and Emotional Support).
- Preferred Qualifications: None specified.
- Float: Float rotation may be required.
- Additional Information:
- Two years of current Labor and Delivery experience required.
- Postpartum and Mother Baby experience required.
- Candidate must include their permanent address in their profile.
- Must have own vehicle for the assignment.
- All scheduling requests, including requested time off, must be made at submission; requests after offer or during interview are not guaranteed and may result in rescinded offers.
- Requested time off during this assignment must be noted and verified at upload. RTO requests after upload or during interview will not be approved. No more than 5 days of RTO will be accepted.
- Profile must include skills checklists for Labor and Delivery, Post Partum, and Mother Baby, current to 1 year.
- Must provide a supervisory reference from within the past two years.
- Start date is 08/31/2026, with a minimum commitment of 36 hours per week.
