Job Summary:
Labor and Delivery Nurse in Enid, Oklahoma. This position involves providing specialized care to women during pregnancy, labor, and postpartum stages. The role requires experience in labor and delivery settings, supporting scheduled procedures and managing triage issues, with an emphasis on electronic fetal monitoring and neonatal resuscitation.
Job Details:
- Location: Enid, Oklahoma
- Shift Schedule: Nights, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of Oklahoma; at least 2 years of labor and delivery experience; BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications; NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification; current electronic fetal monitoring (EFM) certification from AWHONN (Association of Women's Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses); Cerner experience; must live at least 100 miles away from the facility; demonstrated experience with Fetal Monitors, Cerner, and Fetalink documentation.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with scheduled procedures such as C-sections, external cephalic versions, and cerclage, along with handling admissions, discharges, transfers, pre-op, and deliveries (vaginal and C/S).
- Additional Information: This role involves caring for a patient population including females of childbearing years, pregnant individuals at 17 weeks gestation and beyond, and managing triage issues. Clinical activities include supporting scheduled procedures, admissions, discharges, transfers, pre-op, and delivery processes.
