Job Summary:
Labor and Delivery Nurse specializing in Obstetrics located in the designated area. This role involves providing comprehensive care during labor, delivery, postpartum, and antepartum settings. The position requires quick candidate interviews, with a focus on candidates possessing extensive Labor and Delivery experience.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Night shifts; 12 hours per shift; minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: 24 months of current Labor and Delivery experience, Iowa (IA) license or multistate license, active BLS, ACLS, NRP, and electronic fetal monitoring (EFM) certificates, and a valid drivers license.
- Preferred Qualifications: Postpartum and nursery experience, EPIC electronic medical record (EMR) proficiency, and experience with maternal-neonatal care.
- Certifications: BLS, NRP, FHM (Fetal Heart Monitoring), ACLS.
- Schedule Details: Orientation dates are 09/08/2026, 09/14/2026, and 09/21/2026. Candidates expected to work 24 months of Labor and Delivery experience, with highly preferred nursery and postpartum experience.
- Additional Information: Candidates must have a current Iowa license, certification in electronic fetal monitoring, and experience working in Labor and Delivery. The role may include infrequent floating to Medical Surgical or ICU units to assist with patient care.
