Job Summary:
This is a nursing position specialized in Labor and Delivery within a healthcare facility located in Neptune, New Jersey. The role involves providing postpartum patient care, collaborating with physicians, and supporting evidence-based nursing practices. The nurse will primarily focus on postpartum care rather than labor and delivery, contributing to the health and well-being of mothers and newborns.
Job Details:
- Schedule: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, three 12-hour shifts per week. Every other weekend and 3 out of 6 holidays required.
- Required Qualifications: ASN (Associate of Science in Nursing) degree; NJ State Professional Registered Nurse license or a multi-state compact license; BLS (Basic Life Support) certification from AHA; NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification; 3+ years of mother-baby nursing experience; hard skills include labor and delivery, postpartum, antepartum, OR (Operating Room); soft skills include newborn care.
- Preferred Qualifications: BSN (Bachelor of Science in Nursing); additional certifications such as Advanced or Electronic Fetal Monitoring (C-EFM).
- Additional Information: Placement starts on 08/24/2026; minimum of 36 hours per week; no on-call or float requirements; scrubs provided in navy blue.
