Job Summary:
L&D (Labor and Delivery) Nurse in a facility with a focus on obstetric and neonatal care. The position involves providing support for a 10-bed labor and delivery unit, including Level I nursery services and C-section procedures. The role emphasizes ensuring the safety and well-being of mothers and newborns during the delivery process and postpartum care.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Nights shifts, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license in good standing, Nursys license verification, professional profile within the organization, two professional references, and an updated resume.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in maternity or neonatal units, advanced certifications such as BLS (Basic Life Support) and NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program).
- Additional Information: The candidate will be responsible for monitoring fetal and maternal vital signs, administering medications, assisting with labor and delivery procedures, and providing postpartum care. Ensuring adherence to SOPs and hospital policies related to obstetric care is essential.
