**Preferred Start Date:** - Start date within the next 4-6 weeks preferred - Minimum of 13 weeks considered **Certifications Required:** - NIHSS - BLS (Basic Life Support) - ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) - NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) **Experience Requirements:** - Previous Charge Experience: Required - Years of Experience: 2 - Charting System Experience: Preferred (Cerner) - Travel Experience: Not required **Skills Required:** - Administration of blood & blood products - Antepartum care - Antihypertensives administration - APGAR scoring - Assist with high-risk delivery - Assist with sterile speculum exams (effacement, dilation, station, presentation) - Assist with vaginal delivery - Baby Nurse (Baby Catcher) - Breastfeeding/lactation support - Cesarean Section experience - Circulate for C-section - Drawing Venous Blood - Epidural Anesthesia - Foley catheter insertion/management - Forceps/vacuum extraction - Fundus/lochia/perineum care - General Anesthesia - Hemorrhage/shock care - High-Risk Antepartum care - Infant Identification - Insulin drips use - Interpretation of dysrhythmias - Isolation Precautions/PPE - Labor & Delivery experience - LDRP (Labor, Delivery, Recovery, Postpartum) - Magnesium Sulfate therapy - Multiple Births experience - NST (Non-Stress Tests) - Pain assessment & management - Pitocin (oxytocin) administration - Postpartum Hemorrhage care - Pregnancy-induced hypertension care - Radiant Warmers/Thermoregulation - Recognition and Treatment of abnormal fetal heart rate patterns - Recovery C-Section - Reflex checks/edema assessment/clonus - Starting and maintaining IVs - Sterile vaginal exams - Terbutaline use - Triage of obstetrical patients - Use of EFM (External Fetal Heart Monitoring) - Use of Internal Fetal Monitoring - Use of IUPC (Intrauterine pressure catheter) placement and calibration - Use of PCA (IV) - Vaccine Administration - Vaginal Delivery experience **Patient Care Information:** - Patient Age Groups: Neonates, Infants, Adults - Daily Census: Fluctuating - Number of Beds: 10 **Other Details:** - Flu Vaccine: Required (Medical/Religious Exemptions and Declinations Allowed) - COVID-19 Vaccine: Not Required - Local Radius: 50 miles (Local Rule: not accepted) - Pending license accepted with submission, must be active before start - An on-site drug screen will be conducted; failure will result in cancellation or assignment.
