Position Overview
Seeking an experienced Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse for a 13-week travel assignment. L&D experience is required. The ideal candidate should be comfortable taking charge when needed and providing safe, evidence-based care in a busy Labor & Delivery environment.
The department averages approximately 80–90 births per month and follows AWHONN standards for nurse-to-patient ratios.
Requirements
- Active, unrestricted RN license
- Recent Labor & Delivery experience required
- BLS required
- ACLS required
- NRP required
- Strong L&D clinical experience
- Must be comfortable taking charge
- Must be willing to work every other weekend
- Experience caring for laboring, postpartum, and high-risk obstetric patients preferred
Unit Information
- 6 LDRP rooms
- 2 Triage rooms
- 5 Postpartum/WHS rooms
- 2 NICU beds in nursery
- Approximately 80–90 births per month
- Nurse-to-patient ratios follow AWHONN standards
- No floating to other units
- Candidate will not be required to take charge
- May need to assist/float to Mother Baby
- Night/PM shift assignment
