Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Labor and Delivery – Pocatello, ID 83201
Start Date: September 8, 2026
Location: Pocatello, Idaho
Schedule: 3x12-hour day shifts (05:00 - 17:00), 13-week assignment
Highlights:
- Labor and Delivery unit with 200-300 births per month
- Teaching hospital environment with high-risk antepartum experience
- Comprehensive obstetrical care including triage, high-risk deliveries, and C-section support
- First-time travelers accepted with minimum 2 years of experience
- Opportunity to work with advanced equipment including IUPC placement and central line maintenance
- 36-hour orientation provided
Requirements:
- Active RN license (state or compact) required at time of application
- Minimum 2 years of Labor and Delivery nursing experience
- Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP, AWHONN Intermediate, and Fetal Heart Monitoring (FHM)
- Experience with electronic charting systems required
- Must reside at least 100 miles from the facility
- Proficiency in sterile vaginal exams, isolation precautions, anticoagulation therapy, antihypertensives, insulin drips, and magnesium sulfate therapy
- Experience circulating and recovering C-sections
